TEDxMaastricht: The Future of Health Coming Soon

Well I've been holding out all week on sharing some exciting news. Mostly as a result of having to get settled into Yeppoon and get things running (see A Rural Adventure). But enough of that for now. Here is the exciting news for Brisbanites in particular.

TEDxMaastricht 2012: The Future of Health
is being screened Live in Brisbane, Australia.

So what is TEDxMaastricht?

TEDxMasstricht takes you head first into the world that is healthcare. Bringing you some fantastic speakers, who are pushing boundaries, shaping healthcare in all different ways, or asking you to consider what the Future of health could be. Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre is the driving force behind this initiative and Lucien Engelen is the man who keeps TEDxMasstricht going.

TEDxMaastricht 2012 will be centered around five tracks, covering the fields of health and care, cure, prevention, research and lifestyle:

Well the real TEDxMasstricht is taking place in the Netherlands, but with the perks of technology, it is going to be streamed live to Brisbane, Australia.
