IVLine Tutoring Services

Welcome. IVLine tutoring services are provided by a number of dedicated and enthusiastic tutors, currently to the inner Brisbane area.

Tutoring services are offered in the fields of;
Secondary Level

• Chemistry
• Biology
• Maths
• Humanities: English, History, Economics

University Level

• General Biology
• Physiology
• Anatomy
• Chemistry (1st year)

These sessions can either be one-one or in a group environment of five students, depending on your requirements. Prices are listed further down the page. All tutors have Blue Cards which qualify them to work with children.

Aaron Sparshott also offers more specific tutoring for students wishing to undertake the Graduate Australian Medical School Admissions Test (GAMSAT). Some examples of the resources he provides are available here.

So after that brief introduction, here is a bit about each of the tutors.

Tutors

Aaron Sparshott
Aaron is currently a second year Medical Student and works in the School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Queensland as a Physiology Demonstrator. Aaron has tutored both privately and for the university for a number of years, offering a range of services. IVLine, his blog is dedicated to sharing information relevant to pre-med, health and medical students.

Aaron is currently in the process of developing an interactive web-based tutoring service, which should allow those with broadband connections to be tutored from their home or a place of their choosing. For more information about Aaron, click here.

Amanda Greaves
Amanda is currently a first year Speech Pathology student at University of Queensland, having made the switch from a Bachelor of Journalism. Amanda has several years of experience in tutoring Humanities subjects (to year 12) and Maths (up to year 10). To find out more information about Amanda view her Linkedin Profile.

Rachel Jiang
Rachel is currently undertaking a MBBS/BSc at the University of Queensland. At the moment Rachel has commenced the first year of the Medical program after completing two years of Science. Rachel is a very capable tutor and has tutored privately for a number of years, predominately in the sciences.



Prices
There is a standard one on one price and a price for group tutorials. These group tutorials are subject to availability and primarily for those wishing to receive GAMSAT tutoring. However, if you organise your own group of 5 students on a particular subject we will try to accommodate you.

One on one: $30/hr (School Level), $40/hr (University Level)

Groups of 5: Each student 10/hr
